Eligibility

Race slots will be filled in this order:

1. Ohana Race Champions (sponsorship paid by qualifying race to offset champions race entry fee) or roll down of podium finishers at Ohana Races. What is an Ohana Race? Use the 'I Accept' button on the right.

2. Other 515 race champions in the past 12 months.

Non Ohana races do not roll down podium spots: however, podium finishers do receive priority lottery chances. Use the 'I Accept' button on the right.

3. Legacy Entry : Ohana members who have won multiple 515 races or have completed more than five races. Send an email to inquire about this limited program.

NOTE:

For year one only, the Legacy Entry will be available to one time champions (any race) and you will not have to enter the lottery.

We are calling this the Celebration of Champions for our inaugural event.

4. LOTTERY SYSTEM – There is no fee to enter the lottery!! Open to any 515 finisher, any year, any race! Scroll down for more information about the lottery system.

why another world championship?

The Ultra 515 World Wide Championships is the first event to truly represent the entire Ultra world.

The Ultra 515 World Wide Championships will accept athletes from any 515 distance race in the world to compete. Conversely, the “invite” only Ultraman World Championships selects certain athletes who have previously competed at an Ultraman brand event.

Athletes will be automatically accepted to the Ultra 515 World Wide Championships by winning ANY 515 distance (or longer) race in the world. The remaining slots are available by lottery entry of 515 finishers (any race, any year). Lottery explained here.

After years of speaking with 515 athletes and race directors from around the world at races and on 515 : The Ultra Podcast, it is clear that there is a desire to have a race that will unite the various 515 races around the world.

This race is designed to fill that void.

MISSION

To bring together Ultra 515 athletes from all areas of the world to share the spirit of competition in an event that truly emphasizes and shares the ideals of Aloha, Ohana, and Kokua.

VISION

To unite the world wide Ohana of 515 Races to work together and truly realize the values of Aloha, Ohana, and Kokua through our partnerships and camaraderie.

As part of long term vision it is hoped that other Ohana races around the world will host the World Wide Championships on their courses.

Lottery system

After the Champion and Legacy slots are filled, a series of lottery pools will choose the remaining slots.

NOTE : Athletes may have multiple lottery entries - one per race you have entered in your lifetime. All entries are free to submit.

There will be a live lottery draw online (Date and Time TBD).

Depending on the number of spots available, multiple draws may be done from Pools A,B,C before moving to the next Pool. Some Pools may be skipped over to the combined Pools if limited slots remain. The race director will determine the exact number of pool draws prior to draw date.

Remaining entrants will be entered to Pool E

Pool D – Ohana Race finishers (previous calendar year)

Pool F – Any race finisher, all time (with Pool E added)
